Male kudus have spectacular corkscrew horns that can grow as long as 72 inches. Their coloring renders them well-hidden where there is dense cover  such as scrubby woodland. Kudus have huge cupped ears and males especially are constantly scanning their surroundings both visually and auditorily in order to detect possible predators...This photo was taken in the Fort Namutoni area of Etosha National Park, province of Kunene, Namibia.
